ABOUT US

The Staran Garden and Amenity project was set up in 1990 by the Lewis Council of Social Service (now Third sector Hebrides) with the objective of assisting elderly and disabled people maintain their gardens.

STARAN has been re-organised as a social enterprise by Third Sector Hebrides.

This means it is still our intention to offer a garden care and support service to the community, but we hope to improve, expand and develop that service as well as increase employment and training opportunities at the same time. We are going to offer our customers the following service, referred to in the customer request section.

The new service can do one off jobs or do work for our customers weekly, fortnightly or three weekly depending on what you want.
